(1) Authors can find the word template here.

(2) Please prepare the paper in one-column format, with a page length of 12-15 pages.

(3) Please add under the title the authors’ names, institution, country, city, country (no street or any other address part – neither a complete private address –  should be added there).

(4) The paper should begin with an abstract that summarizes its content in no more than 200 words. The abstract will appear online at SpringerLink and be available with unrestricted access to facilitate online searching, using e.g. Google, and allow unregistered users to read the abstract as a teaser for the full paper.

(5) Please avoid inserting equations as graphic files. Use the Math function of MS Word, MathType or Microsoft Equation Editor to create your equations.

(6) It is essential that all illustrations are clear and legible. We do not support color in text, tables, or in equations. Also, please make sure that tables and equations are editable, and not pasted in as figures, in case your paper needs to be reformatted or corrections made.

(7) Please include all affiliations and e-mail addresses (or at least the email address of the corresponding author) in the paper.

(8) Permissions for any material authors want to reuse from previous publication should be obtained by the corresponding publisher they want to reuse. Usually, authors can GET PERMISSION online by using RightsLink http://www.copyright.com/publishers/rightslink-scientific/. In rare cases, they need to contact the publisher directly. Moreover, Springer is a STM signatory publisher. If authors wish to reuse materials published by another signatory publisher, they can check the corresponding guideline for permission at https://www.stm-assoc.org/intellectual-property/permissions/permissions-guidelines/.
